If you are traveling out of the country, you must notify the credit union.  If our credit card security system detects activity from out of the country, and we are not aware of your travels, your card will be deactivated to prevent fraudulent use. Make certain we have your current contact information on file, including a valid mobile number if you have one.

    The credit union’s ATM and VISA fraud departments will never text you. You will receive a call, fax or email from the Fraud department. Currently, there is a scam where you will receive a text message requesting you call a 434 area coded number. Visa and ATM use toll free numbers only. When in doubt use the 800 number on the back of your ATM or VISA card or call the credit union during our normal business hours.  We will be happy to research this for you.
